ASA Carbon Monoxide Detector, Cockpit Safety Indicator

The ASA carbon-monoxide detector is a compact, disposable colour-change indicator for aircraft cabins and cockpits. It provides a supplementary visual safety aid for pilots, instructors and student pilots.

For a flight school or flying club, its compact format makes it a practical addition to cockpit safety supplies. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for placement, interpreting colour changes, storage and replacement intervals. Check the indicator's condition and service life as directed before use.

This is a visual indicator, not an electronic alarm. It does not replace aircraft inspections, exhaust-system maintenance or any required warning equipment. If carbon monoxide is suspected, follow the aircraft's applicable emergency procedures.
